Welcome to the 21-22 school year! High school staff members are excited to dismiss the rows and seating charts and return to a classroom rich in discussion and peer-to-peer engagement.  As we move into this school year with the return of sports and other extra-curricular activities, it may be necessary for you to help your student become reacclimated to time management, prioritization, and homework.  If your student is struggling, please reach out to their teachers.  They are eager to help.  It's going to be a great year!

Dear TCA Community,

You may have seen the recent Gazette article about substitute shortages in schools and districts in our local area due to COVID impacts.  TCA is also experiencing the need for more substitutes, and I am reaching out to you for help.  We have told staff to stay home when feeling ill, resulting in an increase in staff absences, and with a limited number of substitutes, we often have positions that go unfilled. 

In our experience, subbing at TCA is ideal for former or retired teachers, college students and graduates, individuals changing careers or just rejoining the workforce, and anyone interested in serving the TCA community and our students on an as needed basis.  If you or someone you know would be interested in substitute teaching at TCA, please click here for more information about our minimum qualifications (teacher certification is not required) and to apply.

As you know, we love our parents and families, and this is a great opportunity to become more involved in TCA!
