TCA JH Athletics Information

Welcome to TCA JH Athletics! This document will provide some useful information about JH Athletics for the 2024-2025 school year. Please email Kim Carl if you have any additional questions.

Registration

Athletics registration opens one season at a time and can be done online at Sports Registration. In order for your athlete to play, you must register them online and upload a current physical that covers the entire sports season.

Interscholastic (IS) vs. Intramural (IM) Teams

Girls' Volleyball, Boys' Basketball, and Girls' Basketball offer two different types of teams within their sport. The Interscholastic team (IS) practices every day during their season and competes against other D20 schools. This team is comprised of the top 20-24 athletes. The IS team is then broken into two teams either by grade level or by athletic ability depending on the sport. The Intramural (IM) team has practice 1-2 times a week and will play between 4-6 intersquad games against each other. Theis team is comprised of the athletes that did not make the IS team or athletes that cannot commit to the IS schedule.
