WE ARE TITANS
Welcome to the President’s Corner — a central place to stay connected with life at TCA. Rooted in our Core Values and the Titan Creed, this page reflects our commitment to truth, beauty, and goodness as they are lived out daily across our school community.

Here you’ll find celebrations of student achievement, highlights of staff impact, and stories that reflect virtue in scholarship, relationship, and citizenship. From classroom accomplishments to community moments and shared experiences, each post offers a glimpse into the life and culture of TCA.

Together, these stories form an ongoing record of what it means to be a Titan — striving for excellence in mind, body, and spirit — and continue to grow as new moments of learning and leadership emerge.

Celebrate TCA

We celebrated the Junior High 7th Grade Science efforts with the “Lettuce Grow” hydroponic farmstands. Mrs. Richie and Mrs. Ehresman both teach Life Science and supplemented their botany lessons by providing students a first-hand experience of growing vegetables and herbs. Four Junior High students shared their insights into how the farmstand works, what they cultivated, their observations throughout the process, and the special end-of-semester feast featuring their harvest. What a meaningful way for our students to witness beauty and growth every day in the science classroom!

At TCA Junior High, we believe every student should feel supported, included, and valued. The “Who’s Got Your Back” campaign encourages students to identify positive friends and trusted adults who support them each day. This initiative highlights the strong relationships that make our campus such a welcoming community. Students shared their experiences and reflections from this campaign at the Board Meeting on March 9th, celebrating the power of connection and belonging. We’re proud of our Junior High students for leading with kindness.

We celebrated TCA High School’s recent Titans Give Week. Three TCA secondary students shared their highlights from the various student council led activities that benefited CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). The High School raised over $7,300 through events such as cash for casual and renting reserved parking spots, just to name a few. The week culminated with a celebratory assembly in the gym, where teachers were able to actively participate. It was a great week to give back to CASA, but also have some fun too.

We opened our January 2026 board meeting with a special improv piano performance by College Pathways student Ruthie Saxon, a talented ninth grader. A few months ago, Ruthie wowed the audience at the College Pathways Talent Show. She showcased her unique ability to improvise a song based on an audience-chosen emotion and musical key. For the “celebrate TCA” segment, the board members selected “upbeat and joyful” in the keys D and G, and what followed was a wonderful, energizing tone for the meeting.
TCA East Gym Beam Signing

Dr. Thomason recently toured the ongoing construction at TCA East alongside Kevin Pacht (Director of Operations); Board Members Kelli Hawkins and Laura Moffat, who serve on the Construction Committee; Jessie Contreras (Facilities Director); Tisha Harris (Director of Communications); and Amy Pope and Justin Peterson, Principals of TCA East and the College Pathways/Cottage School Program. As progress continues on the new gym, classrooms, and office space, attendees also had the opportunity to take a lift to the top of the gym roof and sign an exposed beam with their names.
Kindergarten Orientation and Rising 7th Grade Orientation

Dr. Robert Thomason stands on the stage of the Brown Center, welcoming parents and families to the rising 7th grade orientation.

Dr. Thomason visited our East and North Campuses on Tuesday, April 28, speaking at the Kindergarten Orientation at TCA East before traveling to TCA North to welcome and address families of rising 7th graders.

Both events provide meaningful opportunities to introduce incoming kindergarten families to who we are as a school, while also reminding our rising 7th graders and their families of the expectations and standards we uphold as Titans.
