Tim grew up in the Metro – Detroit area. After high school, he attended Division 2 Hillsdale College, where he walked on and earned a track scholarship as a sprinter. Tim came to The Classical Academy in the fall of 2003 to teach, take over as head track coach, and to help start the football program as an assistant coach. Tim is in his 21st year at TCA, continuing as head track/sprint coach, quarterbacks coach, weights and conditioning teacher, and lead of the secondary Health/PE Department. On the track, the Titans have won 11 women's and 6 men's state championships under Tim’s direction. Tim has been married to Kristi for 21 years and they have 3 children. Isaac, a senior; Mattie, a sophomore; and Joel in 7th grade.

-Played Football and Ran Track (Long Sprints and Long Jump) at Rochester Adams High School in Rochester Hills Michigan (North of Detroit)
-Walked on at Hillsdale College
-Ran 200, 400, 4x100, and 4x400. Four year letter winner and two year captain.
-Part of an  All-American relay as freshman in 1997. Ran the 400 leg of the DMR that finished 4th at NAIA Indoor National Championships.
-In 21st Year at TCA as Men’s and Women’s Head Track Coach
-11 Consecutive Women’s 3A State Track Championships.
-6 Consecutive Men’s 3A State Track Championships
-Teaches Weights and Conditioning and Sports Business
-TCA High School Football Quarterbacks Coach
-Bachelor’s Degree(s) in History and Health/PE – Hillsdale College
