Matthew Edwards, a senior at The Classical Academy in Colorado, placed second in the boys sweepstakes race at the Liberty Bell Invitational, covering the 5-kilometer layout in 14:54.8 at Heritage High in Littleton, Colo. Edwards led five scorers for The Classical Academy finishing in the top 60 to capture the team title by a 157-165 margin against ThunderRidge High of Colorado.
